Year-End Headstart 2026 · P2 to Sec 4 · 13 Nov to 10 Dec

Year-End Math Headstart 2026

Two days. This year's topics, one next-year topic, and a clear read on where your child stands.

The year-end holiday is a stretch when a child can go back over this year's topics without school running alongside. Each camp below does that in two days, and every camp but P6 to Sec 1 ends with a paper marked the same afternoon.

Eight camps, one for each level from P2 to Sec 3, each 10am to 3pm on two days between 13 November and 10 December 2026, at Coronation Plaza, Punggol, Pasir Ris or on Zoom. Day 1 covers the current-level topics next year builds on. Day 2 opens one next-level topic, then the paper (P6 to Sec 1 has no paper). Taught by Mrs Eileen Toh and our tutors.

Pick your child's current level

Every camp is built the same way. Pick the level your child is in now.

Each camp is named "current level to next level". Day 1 covers the current-level topics next year builds on. Day 2 opens one next-level topic, then the paper (P6 to Sec 1 has no paper).

Primary · P2 to P6

Primary Headstart: the topics next year's problem sums are built on.

Each primary camp takes the current-level topics the next level uses most, works them on Day 1 (with the bar model from P3 to P5), opens the first next-level topic on Day 2, and ends with a paper marked the same afternoon. P6 to Sec 1 bridges from primary math to algebra over two days of teaching and practice, with no paper. Early bird for primary levels ends 31 October 2026: the 1-on-1 follow-up session (U/P S$200) and the level resource bundle (U/P S$60) are included.

P5 Science runs at Punggol on 3 and 4 December with Ms Arina Rauf: four afternoon and evening sessions, S$380, booked on WhatsApp. Details on the P5 to P6 page.

Secondary · Sec 1 to Sec 3

Secondary Headstart: this year's algebra made firm before next year builds on it.

Each secondary camp makes the current-level algebra solid on Day 1, opens the first next-level topic on Day 2, and ends with a paper marked the same afternoon. Early bird for secondary levels is for the first 15 registrants at each level: the 1-on-1 follow-up session (U/P S$200) and the level resource bundle (U/P S$60) are included.

What you get back

You will see which questions your child got wrong, and why.

On the afternoon of Day 2 your child sits a paper on the camp's topics (every camp but P6 to Sec 1). The tutor marks it the same afternoon. Your child brings home the marked paper and the tutor's written notes. The progress consult follows after the camp.

Your child's marked paper

Marked the same afternoon, so you can see the working for each question and where the marks went (every camp but P6 to Sec 1).

The tutor's written notes

Which question types your child can now do on their own, and one or two things to practise before the new year.

A 30-minute progress consult

After the camp we sit down with you and go through the gaps and strengths we saw over the two days, where your child stands on the camp's topics, and what to focus on in Term 1.

A school test tells you how many marks went. This tells you which ones, and why.

What's included

What the fee covers, at every level.

  • Two full days, 10am to 3pm on both days, with lunch provided.
  • The in-house workbook and materials, yours to keep.
  • Two tutors on most runs. The P2 to P3 and P6 to Sec 1 camps have one tutor; each level's page names them.
  • The Day 2 paper, marked the same afternoon and gone through with the class (every camp but P6 to Sec 1).
  • The tutor's written notes on what your child can do and what to practise next.
  • A 30-minute progress consult after the camp, on the gaps and strengths we saw over the two days.

Early bird · until 31 Oct for primary · first 15 registrants for secondary

A word from Mrs Toh

"You plan for success. You do not wish for it."

One of my boys came home with 20 out of 30 for his Math weighted assessment and told me full marks was too far away for him. So I asked him: how far is 20 from 30? Very far, he said. Can you improve by one mark a day? Yes, he said, one mark is doable. Then how many days to 30? He thought about it. Ten.

Real life is harder than ten days, of course. But that is how I think about a child and Math. Our job as parents is not to panic. It is to find out which marks are going, fix one thing at a time, and let the small wins add up.

That is what these two-day camps are for. At every level we go back over the topics next year will assume your child already has, teach one, guide one, then let them try one, and on Day 2, at every camp but P6 to Sec 1, your child sits a paper that the tutor marks that afternoon. You go home knowing which marks are going and why, and where to start.

In parents' words

What parents tell us.

"When he reaches home, he's responsive in doing homework. I don't have to tell him. He even taught me the working steps shown to him in class. My son is actually teaching me what he learned!"
A parent of a GPA student, shared with us
"When my daughter got AL5 in her P6 SA1 Math exam, I was desperate. Ms Eileen responded promptly and even requested to see my daughter's test paper first. Just 2 months later, my girl improved to AL3 in Prelims, and eventually scored AL1 at PSLE."
Hong, parent of a P6 student
"My eldest son improved from F9 to B4, and my second son went from D7 to A1 during his O level prelim. The results speak for themselves."
