Crash Course · Primary 6 · PSLE Math
In PSLE Math, the slow part isn't the sum. It's reading a question and not being sure which method to reach for. We fix that, one question type at a time.
A focused 2-day crash course that trains the Lock & Key method across all 10 most-tested PSLE question types, with 158 curated past-paper questions. The June 2026 camp has run, and you can still enrol for the full recorded lessons, printed booklets and practice videos on our LMS, right up to the PSLE paper.

June 2026 Intensive · completed
The live camp ran on 4 and 5 June. You can still enrol to receive everything except the live room: all 5 lesson recordings, both printed booklets, the 84 extra practice videos and digital marking, on the LMS until just after the PSLE Math paper. The fee is the full $480, with no separate discount. For a saving, the PSLE Bundle includes this Intensive at 10% off.
Built from 20 years of PSLE papers
The framework
Most questions look different on the surface. Underneath, they test a structure your child has seen before.
The biggest time-waster in the paper is not calculation. It is reading a question and not being sure which method to use, then trying a few steps, second-guessing, and starting again. Lock & Key trains the reflex that removes that hesitation.
Spot the question's underlying structure.
Pick the method that fits that structure.
Work it cleanly, with marks-visible steps.
The locks
Identified from two decades of PSLE papers. Across the fourteen years we counted closely, 2012 to 2025, three of these ten, Geometry, Area & Perimeter and Volume & Rate, appeared in every single Paper 2. The 158 curated questions are spread across all ten types, so your child gets repeated, deliberate practice on each. See the full most-tested analysis, or the free preview of two types with worked solutions.
Part-Whole & Comparison · units, remainders and equal parts in fractions, ratio and money.
Gaps & Differences · quantity-and-value, excess-and-shortage, supposition.
Before, Change, After · constant part, constant total, constant difference.
Proportion · direct proportion, sharing, least-number and packing.
Volume & Rate · tank filling and draining, taps, water levels, rate.
Percentage · discount, GST, interest, increase, decrease and reverse percentage.
Data Handling · bar graphs with hidden scales, pie charts, line graphs, average.
Area & Perimeter · composite figures, circles, overlaps, folding and cutting.
Geometry · angle-chasing, parallel lines, isosceles and equilateral, reflection.
Number Patterns · linear and figural patterns, common terms, pattern to formula.

Alan and Barry shared a box of stickers in the ratio 3 : 2. Alan gave 20% of his stickers to Clara, who had none at first. Barry then gave Clara some too, so that in total 26% of the box went to Clara. What fraction of Barry's stickers did he give away?
The lock: constant total. Scale the box to 100 units, so Alan 60 and Barry 40.
The key: Alan gives 20% of 60 = 12 units. Clara ends with 26 units, so Barry gave 26 less 12 = 14 units.
Answer: 14/40 = 7/20 of Barry's stickers.
A jacket is on sale at 15% off. Rahim paid $57.80 for it. A week later Simon bought the same jacket at a different discount, and the amounts they paid differed by $6.80. What two discounts could Simon have received?
The lock: percentage, work from the part back to the whole.
The key: 85% = $57.80, so the usual price is $68. Simon paid $64.60 or $51.00, two cases.
Answer: a discount of 5% or 25%.
An empty tank measures 55 cm by 30 cm by 20 cm. At 2pm tap A fills it at 4.2 litres a minute. Five minutes later tap B starts draining. At 2.15pm the tank is exactly half full. How much does tap B drain per minute?
The lock: volume and rate, track water in minus water out.
The key: half the tank is 16.5 litres. In 15 minutes tap A adds 63 litres; tap B ran 10 minutes and removed 63 less 16.5 = 46.5 litres.
Answer: 4.65 litres per minute.

What the two days train
Not just more practice. The Intensive rebuilds how your child approaches a question, so they work purposefully, not hopefully.
Scan a question and know what it is testing, the common trap, and the method that fits.
From "let me try a few things" to "I know exactly what this is."
Structured, repeatable, PSLE-safe methods that hold even when a child is tired. Many students know the concept but mix methods or skip steps under exam conditions.
Repeated exposure to the same types, faster recognition each attempt, cleaner working, fewer avoidable mistakes. 158 curated questions across the 10 types.
Who it suits
The Intensive is a good fit if your child:
Sharpens decision-time and clean presentation, where the last marks usually go.
Gives a reliable structure, so a hard-looking question stops feeling random.
Builds marks-visible working that earns method marks and catches slips.
What's included
A keepable resource
The questions and worked solutions come as physical books your child can write in, flag, and revise from without a screen. They are part of the curriculum we write and publish ourselves, 60+ textbooks and 40+ workbooks, refined over eight years of classroom use.

A parent's story, on camera
"When my daughter got AL5 in P6 SA1, I was desperate. Mrs Eileen even asked to see her paper first. Two months later she hit AL3 at Prelims, and eventually AL1 at PSLE."

Already a GPA student?
If your child is in our weekly Primary 6 programme or the PSLE Last Lap, the Intensive is already built into their June lessons at no extra fee. Check with us before enrolling separately, and we will tell you honestly which programme they are in. We would rather you did not pay twice.
Free preview, no pressure
We will send a preview of two question types with complete worked solutions, so you can see exactly how the Lock & Key method is taught before you decide.
Preparing for the whole paper?
The PSLE Bundle pairs this Intensive with timed Mock Exams and the Ten-Year-Series walkthrough at a built-in 10% saving. Method, timed practice, and full-paper exposure, reinforcing each other.
Yes. The live days ran on 4 and 5 June, but enrolment is open and you get the full package on our LMS: all 5 lesson recordings, both printed booklets, the 84 practice videos and digital marking, available until just after the PSLE Math paper. Your child follows the same Lock & Key method at their own pace.
The individual crash course stays at $480, with everything included. We do not run a separate discount on it. If you want a saving, the PSLE Bundle pairs the Intensive with Mock Exams and the Ten-Year-Series walkthrough at a built-in 10% off.
Most PSLE questions look different but test a familiar structure underneath. The structure is the lock, the matching method is the key. We train your child to spot the lock quickly, reach for the right key, and solve cleanly, instead of trying a few things and second-guessing.
Our Principal Tutors, Mrs Eileen Toh and Ms JS Lee. They are the teachers who write and refine the curriculum, so your child learns the method from the people who built it.
Your child submits selected answers digitally and gets feedback on four things: method, presentation, accuracy and exam habits. It is about how to present working that earns full marks, not only reaching the right number.
Probably not. Weekly Primary 6 and PSLE Last Lap students attend the Intensive as part of their existing programme, at no extra fee. Check with us first and we will confirm which one your child is in.
