Our Teachers

Genius Plus Academy has a women-led teaching team. Every teacher is trained in the GPA Method and teaches from the same in-house materials, so the standard a child meets does not depend on which tutor they happen to get. The team is led by founder Mrs Eileen Toh.

The teacher who wrote the method.

Mrs Eileen Toh is a former MOE teacher with a Master of Education from NIE. In 2017 she left the classroom to start Genius Plus Academy, and she wrote the school's in-house curriculum page by page.

She leads the school as Founder and Curriculum Architect, and every teacher who joins is trained in the method she built. The curriculum she authored is the same one taught in every class, at every branch.

Ms Arina Rauf

Ms Arina Rauf is Principal Tutor and Head of Department for Primary, and she also serves as Head of Publications and Curriculum Specialist. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and was a top scorer in her own PSLE cohort.

She has 5 to 6+ years of teaching at Genius Plus Academy. Alongside her classes, she works on the in-house materials, so what she teaches and what she writes stay in step.

Are all your tutors qualified?

Yes. Our teachers are degree-qualified, and the team is led by founder Mrs Eileen Toh, a former MOE teacher with a Master of Education from NIE. Every teacher is also trained in the GPA Method before taking a class of their own.

Will my child always have the same tutor?

We aim for continuity, but it is not what holds the standard in place. Because every teacher is trained in the GPA Method and teaches from the same in-house materials, your child learns the same method the same way, whichever of our teachers is in the room.
